D~R~E~A~M Bike
Ok, I have been thinking about building a bike but after putting all the numbers together their is no way I could ever afford it so I ask everyone what is your dream bike? Give all the items you would like to have frame, fork, brakes, drive train, seat, rims, tires, pedals everything the works!
Have Fun
Wow I find this very interesting. I am very surprised by the number of carbon fiber frame sets people would like to have. My choice would be an aluminum frame.
Well here is what I am thinking about!
Santa Cruz Nomad (has to be a polished frame!)
Fox TALAS RLC Fork Profile Crank

I think that would do it right out of the box. CF frame, XTR, Reba World Cup, Crossmax SLR UST, Easton EC70 carbon cockpit. Yeah, that'd do it.

Pike 454 coil
Blk King Headset
Blk I-9 wheelset
XT m772 SGS R Der.
XT 11-34 cassette
XT F Der.
XT Pods
SRAM PC971 chain
XT crankset 22/32 with E13 bash
RF Diabolus (blingbling gold BB)
CB Candies

I'm going to be greedy and ask for 2
A custom 29er Nicolai nucleon tfr with 1.5 head tube upgrade and E.L.S. everything else to try and get the weight down.
A Trimble 29er set up as a road bike with powercranks, mechanical discs, campag record, deep-V CF clinchers and rigid CF forks

My Blur 4x and V10 fit that bill for me. My buddy just put together a Mojo SL which is another super sweet bike but I prefer the geometry of the 4x.

Redline or Voodoo 29er, set up 1x9 with a bashguard-ed Race Face crank up front, SRAM X9 in the back. Thomson bits front and back, White Industries/DT/Hope hubs laced to Salsa rims. Not sure what I'd do with the fork, either a Reba or a nice rigid, stuck on there with a King headset. Big beefy tires.
I like to think that's pretty realistic for a dream bike. Hopefully I'll have something like it by the end of the summer.

My sig has info.
It is Titus Racer-X for my MTB
and BMC SLC01 for My Roady.
MTB wheels are Mavic crossmax and I removed decals frot wheel and it was PIA so I didn't remove rear wheel.
But I'll remove those decal as well.

My current ride is nothing fancy, but it gets me down the trail.
Santa Cruz Blur XC or Rocky Mountain ETSX would be my goto bikes if I was going to drop some $$$ on a new bike.
