What's that black thing over the back wheel? Looks like a fender but then it splits in two?

pinkie and greenie
re cycle.... do you find the rider is sitting rather far back over the rear wheel? or is it super-flat 'round your parts?
a fine contraption regardless. (*.*)

Hehehe, I did one of those. big frame with skyways. It lasted about a day. I got sick of the pedals
grinding, and I didn't own a set of shorter cranks at the time. It was fun, and got looks, hehe. Here's a
mockup for my latest. It already has tires, and the rack is bolted on. The rack was actually issued to
kids with a paper route, back when it was safe for kids to have a paper route. Times have changed
This is a replica of the bike my older brother used back in the late sixties and early seventies., It had a big
set of canvas saddlebags that went over the rack for the papers. I just need fenders, and blast and paint the rack now. Maybe another touch here and there.,,,,BD

Here was my one. Nowhere near as outrageous as most of these other ones. It was salvaged just before it was going to the tip. It was some old Malvern Star girls bike with flowers and complete with flower basket. Me and a friend got most of the rust removed (took ages), knocked the fenders back into shape, new tubes and a quick respray black with San Andreas and Rockstar logos slapped onto it. Notice the reflector painted black?? haha
We did this about a week after San Andreas came out so it was a while ago. I was suprised when Rockstar was offering a competition to win a "San Andreas BMX Bike" about 6 months after we did this.
We ended up giving it away not too long ago.

The bumblebee was finished up before the price of copper sky rocketed. The bars and sissy bar are mostly left overs from the plumbing of my dad's lobster boat. Those mag's are aluminiminum by the way. I've never seen anything like that kickstand before, it came out of the trash on an old old cruiser. The thing rides like a dream, pedals well and behaves at high speed. All it needs now is a front brake and a beer in the bottle cage.
