Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm at work on my phone. This thread had been idling on the screen for the last couple of hours, so I'm probably dragging it up, but I'm too lazy to refresh.

Interestingly, to the OP, I grew up just outside St. Cloud.

Haha, small world.

I usually frown on mindless, inane threads but, heck, everyone canhave a moment of weakness occasionally right?

Yep. I was just noticing that the fireplace didn't seem to be doing as much to keep the place warm as it has the past few evenings. I think Rowan and I will need our hot water bottles tonight, and I'm betting the cabin will be about +5C when we get up in the morning.

So ... when's spring here?

Sitting at my desk after my first commute on my new road bike. So much different than my daily commuter. Started reading this thread than clicked on Machka's link of her "Love Shack" and was wishing I wasn't at my desk, at work, anymore. I really want to go to Australia.
