For the Tuesday ride we usually drive to friend's house and ride from there. Today when I pulled the Seven out of my car I noticed the crank was hard to turn. I haven't ridden that bike since the deep water crossings 2 weeks ago and it turned out the bearing on the drive side was stuck and was turning in the cup. Campagnolo Ultra Torque bearings are pressed on to the crank spindles which are part of the arms. One bolt goes through the spindle to join the halves.
My friend had a 10mm Allen and I pulled it apart and soaked the bearing with WD 40 and forced it to turn with pliers. Seemed ok after that so I slapped it back together and we rode 45 miles with no issues. I suppose I should replace the bearing or something.

It's not so much a question of sophistication as it is that the average HIGH temperature in July in SF is 67 degrees.

One time, I was reading the report from my family doctor and it said I suffered from dysthymia which to the best of my knowledge never have. Next check up, I asked her about it and she said that I was on an antidepressant which I was but it was to counteract some side effects of my cancer drugs, not for depression. After I was off the antidepressants because my cancer side effects lessened, she changed my chart to read "Major depressive disorder, recurrent episode, in full remission" and that is still on my chart to this day.
Gross.

Rode around for a bit, was nice when I started on the south side of town soaking in the sun. Then crossed the Mother Road and in the shade of the tall buildings my hands began to freeze. By the time I got to the pinball parkour I was super stoked to be indoors.
Had a good day on the Led Zeppelin pinball. They had the house radio off so I was totally immersed in the game. I may propose they leave the tunes off til Happy Hour is over. Anyways, I cracked it twice and matched once for a total of 6 plays for $2.00. One of these days I'm going to get the gold standard 8 plays for 2 bux out of that machine.
Sun's down now, I hope I can survive the 2km ride home being slightly underdressed!

The Led Zep rig is pretty advanced. Sign up for the Stern Insider and the machine has a QR code reader built in that tracks your stats. Maybe someday they'll put in that **** that just automatically senses your phone, could be tricky due to the proximity of machines though.
There is a retro machine in the house (Pabst Blue Ribbon/Red Fang (Portland, OR rocknroll heros), '60s style with 2" flippers. And there are two 20th century machines: F-14 Tomcat and Stars. I never play those though. All the other ones are full blown 21st century machines.

KFC has a new pizza-chicken mashup called the Chizza. Why? Just why?

I do not recall what I did on that day, but I know it did not include these activities.
