Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking nice Blandin

I actually would like to get another Ti frame with a sloping top tube to be used as a daily beater with fenders. A Cross or slightly different than a pure Road Race frame.

As I recall your Tuscany started out to be a commuter/beater bike. Lord only knows what will happen if you start another "beater".

Touché Blandin, it was to be that....

Must be why I'm still compelled to build that vision.

I don't know what your budget is, but the current compact titanium frame from TST is a beauty.

Here is one for $900, and it can be custom made

Still I would rather find a $600 ebay special.

You know which ones I would really like are thoe Airborne Intercepters Lectron and somebody else posted. Those look like they would be perfect for what I would like.

I would really like something with Disc Brake mounts It might have to be a new MTB

Check this one out, I think it fits the bill, if not the price.

All kidding aside, the people at bike soul are really pretty amazing. They design their wheels and frames themselves (not just re-badged oem stuff) and have them produced in China and elsewhere to their specs at amazing prices. Could be a fun project and it sure would be unique.

Yes, but at $1500 it's a bit pricey I think.... For what I would want. If that was the case I would buy a new frame for my road bike and turn the Tuscany in to the beater it was suppose to be... Well maybe not.

Darn it all I want (read-need) a new commuter is all!
