I hardly said a word to her. When she rolled down her window, I asked "did you say something to me?" Very polite, in a calm tone of voice.

All I had to read was the title and I knew a pickup was involved. It seems that pickup trucks bring out the idiot in people. I am not saying that everyone who drives a pickup is an idiot, but it seems more times than not someone driving a pickup is more likely to do something dumb. IMO!!!!

I certainly have a car...but I prefer to burn jelly doughnuts rather than gas!
I like the "Will move right for cash" shirt...brilliant!
EDIT: I'd also probably let them know that I like to save my petroleum products for fire performance...white gas (camping fuel) is so much better than gasolene 'cause you can eat it! Well...not eat the gas...but use it for fire eating.

"Don't you have a car?"
Sure, but the milage is better on a bike.
Sure, two of them, ya want one.
Sure, don't you have a bike?
Sure, but my car pool went home.
Sure, but it's too nice a day to be indoors.
Sure, but why waste the gas.
Carry on...

This is a fun one, I can think of several things to say!
1. I have one too many felonies and my license was suspended.
2. I bet I can get the the other side of the city faster than you!(only works in downtown urban areas)
3. I used to be as large as you, until I got this bike.
4. I have better aim from the bike versus my car.
Ok... I could do this forever, so I will stop now.

Fortunately, I was not the OP. I tend to be very short tempered when cycling and hate being disturbed. Something I am working on.
More often than not I would respond with a certain finger.

Unfortunately most drivers that try and confront me do so at speed. I usually catch them at the next light only to discover their windows rolled back up and them staring intently to their front. I'm sure they even turned the radio up to drown out my rages.

Dart guns, we need dart guns, with little BF Flags on them.
So when you come across a neanderthal driver who yells, you pop a few darts onto his car.
Then, if your tooling along and see a car with a pile of darts, you can kick it, yell at it, etc and know your doing a fellow bf member a favor.
