This 1988 Centurion has the coveted Japaneese Tange #1 Steel Seamless (double butted) "Infinity" Tubing Frame and Forks
Infinity and Tange 1 (which the IM series used on most models prior to '88) were both "Cro-Mo" steel but Infinity was a seamed tube with "tapered" internal butting which had smooth/gradual transitions between the thick and thin walls, where the Tange 1 (or 2 thru 5 , I will recon) were all seamless-drawn tubes with more 'abrupt' transitions between the butted and un-butted sections.
Most would consider seamless tubing (even of the same metal) to be the more "premium" and I do think that the top number "Champion 1 or 2" tubesets sold for more than Infinity (which was less expensive to manufacture)

a minor quibble (but could be important to a buyer) if this 1988 is built with Tange Infinity tubing it's NOT Tange No. 1 (or Tange Champion No. 1), they are not the same tubeset.

This one looks familiar...
Yup, definitely saw this one a while ago. Can't believe a seller calling interested parties "wankers" hasn't sold the bike yet...

I wasn't sure so did some research: seems that all the STEEL Ironmans (ironmen?) frames starting in 1985 until line was ended in late 1989-90 they were Tange seamless tubing and called either "Champion No. 1" in '85 but thereafter called just "No. 1" or "1".
in '89 the frames were TiG-welded (no head or seat lugs) but Taiwan (or Japan) builders still used Tange 1 tubing, might not have been the ideal tubing choice for that technique, but...haven't heard any complaints.
(repeating hearsay now so take it FWIW) Technically there were 2 carbon-fiber "Ironman" frames (one called Ironman in '88 and another called Carbon R '88 and '89) but both bonded frames were not so reliable (bonding came loose on some, lugs could crack) and Centurion only offered them for those (1 or) 2 years. Here's some better hearsay:
"The Carbon Ironman was equipped with tricolor while the Carbon R was equipped with Dura Ace.
The Carbon Ironman was a one year release '88 while the Carbon R was two years, both '88 and '89.
One thing I would caution against is replacing the fork. To reduce the flex some (RT) have tried replacing the fork with a more rigid one and had disastrous affects. I think the flexy sexy fork helps prolong frame life."
The IM lived on after '89 but became TiG-welded Diamondback TG models that were reportedly same geometry (and "marble-fade" paint) as the previous Centurion Expert and Master models...and assuming still built with Tange 1 but...? And these DBs were not marketed or labeled as "Ironman", that franchise was over.
