Welcome to C&V! It's a pretty laid back and friendly place. We're all sensible people here. Not a lot of ranting or shouting or ego bruising.
WERA: I used to make it an annual trip to Pocono International Raceway to catch the WERA Formula USA event, some 15-20 years ago. Always such a good time and race.
I remember one year, Yamaha brought their 500cc 2-stroke GP bike over and spanked the entire field. I think the rider nearly lapped the entire field!
I wonder if I had watched you race.

I'll add a couple. They were taken at different times but I just happened to be wearing the same jersey both days (yes I have more than one jersey but this one is worn often because it's from a work sponsored bike team).

Not a chance, for you see I didn't start racing until I was 67 years old! I was 65 the first time I ever got on a racetrack with a motorcycle. Back in the middle 70s, I went to Pocono and saw Kenny Roberts race.. Awesome...
I race with WERA and CCS.
Never been on a 2 stroke!!
I am a late bloomer!!

Well, I posted one pic, but this thread is too much fun:
Me, my boy, my wife on the left, the wife of a friend on the right:
With my son and one of his buddies:
That is me face down on the right (sorry, couldn't resist, but it is the most recent photo of me):

OK, OK. I don't own the MOOTS. But the other picture of me going up the Colorado National Monument is slouchier...
The Western Rim trail in Rabbit Valley was even more awesome:
The road bike is my SOMA Smoothie, and the mountain bike is my Redline 1x9 29er. Vroom.

Nothing really good with me and a bike. But, I offer me with three different levels of scary facial hair. The two urchins are my riding posse.
