Ah, but I don't ride 40 miles every day. Some days much less, some days much more. Some days very easy, some days very hard. I think about 20% of that distance was from races. And some was from commuting...

I'm at a little over 6000km(3600miles) , +200hrs and 50,000m elevation gain.
I took 2 full weekends off with family and a full week for the Taipei show. That's put me a bit back from where I should be at this point.

2,851 miles to date. I admit to counting roller miles and trainer miles since miles don't matter as much as the hours spent training and the quality of the workout, weather going hard or easy.

613.51 actual outdoor miles. But they're Minnesota winter miles so there's a suffering multiplier.
Another forty hours or so indoors.

Been outside for a few weeks now, got about 500. Would like to hit 5-6000 for the year (with triathlon training).

i'm sitting around 2300 or maybe even 2500 miles. =\ wish I could motivate myself for more, but it's hard when i have to drive 3-4 hours (one way) for a single 50 min race. Luckily some races are upcoming in houston

I did my first century of the season last Sunday in 6:02. I figure, I could either work up to a double century, or I work work on a faster century. Pretty easy choice - a hundred miles fast is more of a challenge than 200 miles. I'm shooting for a century in five hours by the end of the season, and maybe back into racing next year (after a long hiatus).

I don't keep track of my miles any more. I glance at my computer after each ride, but I don't record my mileage and I enjoy riding more than ever. I have been cycling for 25 years and didn't for 5 years routinely and became very fat.
Started riding again and rode myself into shape (260lb to 180s). All I know is I ride a lot and am getting stronger and stronger. I used to be more obsessed with my mileage and times, but had an epiphany last year and I ride for the sake of riding and not the stats. The more I am enjoying my rides, I am riding longer and farther than ever in my life.
