That would be quite tame considering the varied and amazing stuff the ER staff extricate. One of the most idiotic I recall was a lightbulb. It was thankfully retrieved without breakage.

The advice above about drinking a lot of fluids, a high fiber diet, non-aggressive cleaning, avoid straining, and spend as little time on the pot as possible (realizing for some it may not be a matter of choice) is spot on. Surgery is always a good option, but I consider most surgery as an option of last resort considering possible unintended side effects. When all other options are exhausted, then surgery. Best wishes.
