My girl showed me how to make seared salmon fillet. My goodness, I didn't think food so good could come from my dinky 15sqft kitchen.

On the stove top? Nice. The key is to use the broiler for like 2-3mins right at the end to make it look amazeballs

They're made for high torque - low rpm applications. They won't ever creak again.

not looking for an argument, but a lot of the time the bearings in a bb (especially bb30 and pf30) will creak because dust, dirt and grime get in between the crankarm and/or dustcover and the bearings themselves. telling someone their bb will never creak again (especially in a bb30 application) seems a little misleading.....

to this,

but fresh salmon is great in a variety of ways, as long as you don't overcook it. If it is overcooked, it might as have slid out of a can (though I confess I will eat that too.)

Woah man, watch it with that opinion stuff around here. Different opinions make butts hurt in these parts. But I guess you balanced it out with an agreeing opinion so.......

Any of you guys ever been to the Calumet Fishery outside of Chicago?

I grew up with a powerful hate for onions. Now I could probably bite into one like an apple.

No it's not, trust me. The only time you'll touch the bearings again is in 8k miles when they're shot.

I will be ready if they do creak again!

I was at 5k miles, so I don't feel so bad about the creak now.

New bike day is obviously best day, right?

Paint is in spectacular condition, and the lugs are also in great shape. The listing failed to mention it had a Dura Ace cassette and Campy skewers.

At $575 shipped, for one of my dream frames, and a mix of Shimano 600, Dura Ace, and Campagnolo, I think I did pretty well. Thing handles like it's on rails, too. Weighed in at 22.5 lbs.

At home I have NOS campy record shifters, a record rear derailleur, NOS dura ace levers, an original Flite TI, and some record pedals. I think the only thing I will need to buy is a new seatpost. I think the Thompson I have would feel out of place. And that is my list of possible upgrades, lol.
