Wow. Did any of you even notice the absurd umbrella-skirts?
This is the first year I've been truly disappointed with the podium clothing. The stage-winner girls get ill-fitting cat suits and the KOM girls get to wear umbrellas.

KOM umbrella dresses kind'a work for me. hurley.girl's take on the cat suits is right on. Those things should fit like a second skin if you're gonna wear 'em.

It's not just this year. Check back a few years and I think you'll find that the KoM podium girls are always dressed somewhat oddly compared to their compatriots in the other classes. Not sure why, but someone seems to have decided the KoM podium girls have to go with the Willy Wonka couture.

But when you are dealing with polka-dot dresses, you are already a little bit outside of mainstream, so I guess they figure they might as well go for it..

I just got back from Paris, and I have to say other than my lovely bride who I was honeymooning with, the french women are the hottest I have ever seen.

Hasn't anyone noticed that the umbrella skirts seem to have been designed with panty flash in mind?

Yes, I keep looking but I think the French cameraman are wise to it. One of the very first days they awarded the KOM the girl on the left leaned forward to kiss the winner and the camera angle was below and to the left as the physics of the umbrella tipped the skirt up. We very nearly got to see what kind of panties (or even if she was wearing panties!) but the producer cut to another camera at the last second. Made me wonder what kind of shots the people in the audience are getting!
