Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I know it's just the angle, but it doesn't look like there's a hole in the crank for the pedal, ha!

Gotcha!! There was a glass holding the bike and I removed it quickly in Photoshop... So you're right, there's no hole in the picture lol.

, I purchased this Six13 as a frame only then built it up with Shimano 105 components ,Vuelta Racelite wheels mounted with 700x28 Panaracer Paselas, Ritchey pro fork , seatpost , stem and Ritchey comp aluminum bars which are double wrapped for the long hauls on pavement and gravel, last are the Cannondale gt40 aluminum cages to keep the bottles safe and snug.

i love your bike! How do you like the seatpost? I've been lusting after this bike and the only aspect I'm suspicious. On is a 25mm seatpost for 60cm+ frame rider.

It it makes sense to put a thin post for small riders, but tall folk---and very tall folk--- have different needs.

how does it ride? Does it flex too much?

The frame is a 56cm. I'm 5'11". I haven't noticed any seatpost flex even though I am a clyde at 220. Not as stiff as my Caad 10 aluminum frame. Sweet bike.

Are you just touching up the paint or going with something completely different?

New paint. It's basically the same cost to respray the whole bike with more tasteful lettering than to match the two colors and cut the stencils precisely.
