Well I did have to go to a retail store today, and the holiday shopping is why. But, all the people in cars traveling wherever they're going adds a little extra stress that I don't get paid for... Just hope I can get stuck someplace warm in January. Happy Holidays !

I thought really hard about taking a bike out this evening to ride around the neighborhood and look at Christmas lights.

I'll be celebrating Christmas this year, like last year, in a country that is roughly 92% Buddhist (Threvada) and the rest mainly Sunni Muslim. There are a few Catholics around but not many and some Protestants. Be that as it is, the large shopping malls are all decked out in Christmas decorations with lots of staff wearing Santa hats. Doesn't take much for the Thais to find a way to celebrate something. I am planning on a Christmas Day ride.

I hope you've been saving! I paid for a wedding last year, and the one thing I can say is that your vocabulary until the wedding should consist solely of, "Yes dear."

I told both kids if they can wait util after their remaining grandparents pass away there will be more money for their weddings. Son is having a "pause" in his relationship, so I think we are good there, unless their makeup include marriage plans ... eek!
Wifey might just be making things up in her head again ... fingers crossed

I shook off my humbug this morning and got in a spin on the MUP before church. I wished everyone on the path a Merry Christmas except the woman running with AirPods and an unleashed dog. I hope she gets coal in her stocking.

I went to the Honey Baked Ham store hoping to get a ham- we got distracted and didn’t pre-order one.
Between my bad hearing and me not paying attention and being distracted I paid $122.00 for a ham.
I have been told I will be eating gam for a few days. Ham, ham and eggs, ham sandwich, ham and ham. I feel like an idiot. I have never done anything this dumb in a very long time. I guess I was due.

Now that this is practically over, I'm thinking Hobby Lobby and Walmart will race to have Christmas decor out around Valentine's Day.

Ridiculously warm here for Christmas (50s f) but nasty. Rainy and just sloppy. I got the cows milked and fed, but that's about all for the day.

I am in my hometown, spending Christmas with my siblings/families. It has been many years since that has happened. Also, my first no bike ride Christmas in a number of years.
It has been a very nice holiday weekend!

I got in a trail ride on the mountain bike at sunrise, in the rain. It was raining hard, but I love riding in bad weather. I am weird like that.
We had a nice standing rib roast cooked on our Big Green Egg grill for the holiday meal. It was just the wife, our geriatric pup Marley, and myself.
I got a nice FSA SL-K seatpost, a pair of M540 SPD pedals, some Fox full finger gloves, and a Polartec REI beanie for Christmas.
