I found some more history. Depending on your source, these dropouts were used from 1934-1939, Including these, I have tracked down 3 bikes with them. And as best I can tell, in that timeline, Campagnolo went through the first and second generations of the 2-lever derailleur. What is most common on the internet is the third generation of the 2-lever. I have found at least 2 versions of the first generation, but I assume there are more. I am fairly certain there are 4 versions of the second generation. There are 2 versions of the third generation with the first version introduced in 1941/42.

Incredible job you have done to date! This thread is what I missed the most while slacking off. That nickel plating is truly beautiful to see. Reminds me of the Rickman motorcycle frames, back in the early 70’s and late 60’s. Much richer luster and depth to the tubes, IMHO.
