I like the days when you go to put your foot down and you subsequently almost fall because your foot has no traction on the ice. Those are the days where you REALLY have to watch for cars.

I had a day where I was riding down a large parking lot which is slightly downhill. This was "pre-studs" for me. The bike slid out from under me, somehow I got a foot down, stayed up, then put my other foot down, still sliding. So basically I was standing up sliding down a hill with the bike on it's side between my legs. We slid for a good 50 feet or so until we reached the bottom of the hill. I... walked my bike the rest of the way home. (Only a few hundred yards at that point.)
