just carry the pizza like a school book... it'll kinda turn into a calzone after a few blocks though.

I’ve done it at least 4 times and was prepared to do it other times, but I got delivery offers.

Place a graduation “mortar board” on your head and strap the pizza box to that with a couple of cutouts on the pizza box for the drinks. Problem solved.

You may need to add a chin strap to that mortar board.

**** delivering drinks I abandon those orders, but you can rest the pizza on your bars and hold a corner without messing the box up very much. Pizza bounces around a bit but is fine. Bottle cages are crap for delivering drinks but it beats ruining your bag, when I delivered for jimmy johns I would put a bunch of stickers on the lid and then put in a bigger cup with more stickers. You dont have time for that BS when doordashing tho

Obviously aero bars are the proper solution for pizza delivery.

I think a catapulty flinging device would be better.

Get a bike cargo trailer. They have some that are covered.

And they won’t add any weight to the bike.

Considering he claims to have had panniers (check post history), I think he knows a rear rack doesn’t weigh much.

Here in Paris some delivery guys wear an insulated pack on their back if they don’t have a rack.

Use P clamps.

If you want things lighter, do what we did in the old days and drill holes in everything, even your new rack. You'll be able to drill out a few pounds of metal.

Why didn't you say so before?? (Instead of claiming the reason is "weight, actually.")

Search "p clamps for bike rack" (aka cable clamps, i.e., rubber-coated stainless steel p-shaped loops) and order a set of the correct diameter, or buy them from your local hardware store.
