Sorry, the "c" fell out of "obscenity."

I did have some yell "get on the sidewalk" once, but I'm pretty sure he was making a joke as the nearest sidewalk is about 8 miles away.

There is a sharp curve on our Bastrop State Park road that has a deer crossing sign. When ridding through I heard in front of me tiers screech to a stop. At the curve was a lady stopped in her car who just barely missed a large deer. I slowed down to a stop and she stated through her window..."Man... We gotta move that deer crossing to a better spot..." We both laughed remembering seeing the cartoon in a Readers Digest long ago...

I had a lady pull up in the lane beside me on my commute one day and tell me I need to get off the road. I told her if she has a problem to simply pass in the adjacent lane, or that she simply get off the road. This made her angry, and she said "You're not even doing the speed limit!" I told her to think hard about what she just said as I rode off.
Apparently she did not understand the concept of the word limit.

Banned.
I was told to use the bike lane when there's several cars parked and blocking the bike lane.
Drivers like that should be banned from driving if they can't see things at the sides. Ironically, there are road accidents when drivers plowed straight through vehicles parked at the side of the road and got killed. They didn't see the damn thing!

A few other cyclist and I were in one lane at a light. A small pickup pulled up in the lane next to us and said "Remember, you are not a car".

Several times--people loudly and insultingly insisting I'm supposed to ride on the right side of a turn lane onto a freeway entrance. One time a guy honked at me because he had to move over a lane to go straight and I gave him the finger. As is often the case, we both ended up waiting at the red light 50 feet up the road (my right lane position literally didn't slow him for one second). He of course rolls down his window and says "if I didn't see you, you could've been killed, you moron!" Needless to say, I gave him an expletive-laden lecture on state law and ignorant drivers. As is my practice, I generally try to appear dangerously crazy so people regret doing that sort of thing. I play nuts very well.

I was going up a false flat of maybe 2% at about 27mph as part of a local club time trial, at the u-turn at the top had a car that was behind for part tell me to get on the nearby bike path because "do you think you're special or something". The speed limit on said road is 25mph. I told the dude to swallow a bag full of you know whats. Not to mention for the person to catch me from there not being a car in over 1/2 mile behind me at the start in that short a distance they were likely doing double the speed limit, despite me speeding. The outbound downwind part of that TT I usually average 28 or so.
Soon after, I had a conversation with the local PD by calling the non emergency line and asking to talk to someone. I told them they could make BANK clocking speeders there at that approximate time. I've now seen them out there sometimes bagging the 45mph in a 25 cars.

Motorcyclist at a stop: "Is there a motor in that thang?"
Me: Yes, a very old one, it was designed in 1957 but did not come off the line until the next year
Motorcyclist: Looking at the various bits and pieces pointing, "it's in there, right?"

Riding the tandem with my wife. We had the temerity to make a left hand turn, impeding a following driver for a few seconds. They then decided to take the time to chase us down and tell us to "get a life!".
Riding with my wife on a beautiful day ... I think I like the life I already have, thanks.

At a stoplight:
Driver: “That blinking light on your bike could cause a driver to go into an epileptic seizure and crash and die.”
Me: “Without it, a driver might not see me, and I could get hit by them and die.”

I'm unconvinced on the whole self-driving car concept, but one thing I keep hoping we do get out of it is having to put the actual rules of the road in written form so that they can be followed literally by a computer. Right now, there are just too many areas where stated and expected/required behavior diverge. Left turns in congestion, and usage of the oncoming lane to give sufficient room when passing cyclists being some other key examples where actually following the rules as written tends to be unworkable in reality. The problem with expecting drivers to stretch the written rules to the practical ones is that no one quite agrees on how much. A computer in contrast requires a specific standard that can be applied.

And if a driver has an epileptic seizure, they could lose control and hit you. .
Has anyone actually had a seizure triggered by a bike light ever? Seems rather far-fetched.

Blinking lights are set to blink at rates that don't typically cause seizures. However it's quite evident that they annoy some people that are overly concerned with the welfare of those that do have seizures resulting from flashing lights or that just look for any excuse to gripe.
