I can relate to what you're saying Midnight, because I'm one of those people who is sensitive to road buzz. For years I rode my old steel Trek 730 with no problems. Then in 2010 I bought a Specialized Vita Comp (the Vita is the women's version of the Sirrus). My Vita had an aluminum frame, with carbon fork and seat stay. After one summer of riding it I had to sell it, because I could feel every bit of pavement like I was riding a jack-hammer. I experimented with less tire pressure, etc, but that didn't help tune out the road buzz. I found the aluminum frame to be very stiff with a harsh ride. Most of my friends that I ride with have aluminum framed bikes and they don't have an issue with the road buzz, but it was very uncomfortable for me. After I sold my Vita and bought my Jamis Coda (steel frame) and the road buzz problem went away for me. Ciao
