As a 6'3 rider squeezing onto a 22.5" framed converted mtb because I couldn't find anything larger, I commend you, sir, on finding a bike big enough to suit your purposes.

I have in-line barrel adjusters , so there is a piece of housing between the hanger and adjuster.

Tektro (think that's who I got it from) also sells those cable hangers with the barrel adjusters already in them. I think I got one from Niagaracycle for like $15, but haven't got around to taking it out of the packaging or using it yet.

finally found a stem that I could fit the woodchipper bars on.. but now i gotta get a fork mounted cable stop.. man all these little things... at least i got the thumbies on without problems..

Coming along nicely, Frantik! From this pic, the cane creek levers seem to be way off the bars, maybe not the best solution for the small handed among us? Or is that just the angle of the pic?

it's about 1cm farther out than the brakes on my road bike.. they are closer on the outside than the inside due to the angle of the bars. Cane creek offers a smaller reach version. But the cane creek ones are the same as Tektro R200A, just with lizards on the hoods lol

My 84? Sierra. I have since ditched the fenders, and I am thinking modern knobby tires. It looks decidedly more masculine without the fenders, hehe. I used mostly modern parts. 8 speed wheels from a Hard Rock, Grey Deore LX RD, Tektro 720 Canti's. It hasn't been offroad since I built it, and has seen little miles at all. Maybe I can remedy that soon.,,,,BD

I bought a small High Sierra a while back that I planned on converting to road bars & components and making it my wife's touring bike. The top tube is too long so it won't work out for that one, but my dad also has a High Sierra that would work for me. Maybe I'll figure out a way to get that one over here and convert it.

Years ago nobody wanted anything to do with Suntour or these Command shifters, everyone was all about Shimano STI brifters, now it's almost impossible to find a set of Command shifters without blowing up your wallet!!!

This bike is quickly becoming my do-everything, around-town, SUV bike. 1985 Schwinn Cimarron:
Double-butted cromoly lugged frame with fillet-brazed headtube joints. Low-rider mounts on the fork in case I really want to deck it out.
I'm loving these Schwalbe Marathon 26x2.0 tires. Small contact patch, so they're really surprisingly fast for their size, but I still feel like I can roll over pretty much anything.
