It soaks into the rubber, though not instantly. When I was racing R/C cars people sometimes used it for traction compound, if not banned by track rules. That's a short term thing. Not sure how it translates to grips

I'm partial to Aqua-Net for that really good grip and volume. Or were we talking about something else?
