Morning light is early enough, and it is now warm enough, so I can finally get back to my regular early morning pre-breakfast exercise rides. w00t, as texters would say...

Edit: Firefox has issues with "pre-breakfast", and as one of the options, suggests replacing it with "pee-breakfast". I seriously question Firefox's built-in spellchecker...

Finally got out for my first ride of the season today. It was overcast but around 60 and the roads are now dry enough to do a short ride with the road bike. Been riding the rollers all winter so it wasn't like starting from zero but boy what a difference from riding indoors! Turing cold again tomorrow with some light snow in the forecast so back inside for awhile.

High 70's today so I did a 32 mile ride in the flat, open area between the rivers north of St Charles. As I was leaving the parking lot I noticed the flag in front of the Coca Cola plant and assumed I'd have a tailwind on the return route - WRONG!

Saturday last, got to I think 83,, humidity was on the rise.

My body was like,, Oh yeah baby !
All I need to do Is properly hydrate the day before, the morning of and during the ride, I never have any heat Issues.

The hotter the better.
