Cool! Bears can be tough to photograph even with the camera out and ready. We saw a momma with cubs in Cade's Cove (Great Smoky Mountains) several years ago - great photo op, but no good shots to show for it. (And photography is my hobby.)

BTW...My employer donated that former rail line. You're welcome.
Well your employer did PA a huge favor, because that is one fantastic rail trail!

Tell me about it. I have seen 10 while riding/touring and have only been able to capture 3. Back in June I was hanging out in the woods of far NW Montana looking for one during a rest day. Gave up and started heading back to camp but then decided to give it a little more time in an area that looked like it might be attractive to them. A couple of minutes later this bugger strolled out of the woods. He didn't even notice me until I let out a loud "Yesssss!" That caused him to stop to check me out, which gave me time to get out my little camera with a weak zoom. After a minute or so he ambled off. Made my day.
