Thoughts on latest Ritchey Logic

Oh, and yes, lots of spacers. Fewer now that we know the handlebar height is golden - had Vecchios flip the stem and remove some spacers.
Yes, this bike is not as much a pure road bike as the other Gunnars you mention. True, this is more multipurpose commuting sports tourer.

Two are brake cables, the other two are the shifter cables for the Rohloff internally geared hub. They connect to an internal mechanism that rotates through 14 gears. They are simple pull cables w/o any indexing as the indexing happens in the gearhub (like a transmission)

Will do. Still haven't decided. Selling a Niner RLT Steel which I love, but haven't used much since I got an Otso gravel bike. Looking for something more pure road now since I have gravel well covered. I do use the Otso for road on occasion, but since it has 1x11, I'd like to have something with a 2x for road only, hence the new bike dilemna. Still leaning towards the Ritchey at this point since I don't ever plan on using fenders, 30mm clearance is fine, and I like the subdued paint scheme. Loved my old Macho King 853, but I'm probably just too old for the zig zag fade look when it comes down to it. They both look like great bikes.

A friend of mine has been involved in cycling for 50 yrs. He raced locally, is a spin instructor, had his own LBS and worked in the industry as a rep for companies like Bianchi, Speedplay, Garneau, etc. He has a Ritchey and loves it. It's steel. Oh, he also has a weekly show on WHUS radio called Bicycle Talk. You can catch him on FB.

Went with the Ritchey. Everything is in the mail but hope to have it built up with axs in a week or so. Thanks again for the advice. Will send a pic when done.

Absolutely love the Ritchey Disc. This site won’t let me post pics yet, but I really love the subtle grey with blue lettering. Did the bike all in black with mix of Red and Force AXS. Been riding on some gravel Revin wheels but switching to a new set of Enve 45’s this week with Vittoria Corsa Control for long country road rides in the Appalachians. I like the ride more than my old Vamoots, and I loved that bike too. Never ran more than 25’s on the Moots, so that might be part of it, but the Ritchey is incredibly smooth and stable. They did a very nice job with this frame, and I’m definitely sold on wireless axs both in terms of setup and performance.

The outdoor pic is more representative of how the paint looks, but since it is matte, it does change a bit depending on light. Very stealth, the way I like it. I must say I was astonished at the difference the wheels made on acceleration downhill. Compared to the gravel wheels, they just slice the wind like it’s not there. You can tell just by how much more quiet the wind noise is on the wheels. And they weigh the same. It’s a 58 and I’m 6’2”. Like the fit very much. Still playing with stem height. Might lower it another 5mm before I cut the fork a bit more to get to one spacer above the stem.

Your Ritchey looks great! Thinking about one myself in grey. They are out of that color in my size!
Curious. Do you know how much it weighs?

Nice bike! I have the Outback gravel bike. Some years ago I had the Road Logic, middle 1990s, and would love to build a new one. BUT I have a nice Merlin Ti bike and a nice Orbea Orca carbon bike and have to flip the coin to choose which one to ride, plus the gravel bike, so a third nice road bike would confuse me even more so!
