I found a San Marco Ponza in a clearance bin at a bike shop without a tag on it. I asked the guy at the desk how much and he said $15. This was one of those situations when I just went: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

Still kicking.
Watch the saddle rails on the ponza, I had two rails come loose on me.

Your cog is slipping.
Wait until you sit on it. You'll most likely go back and pay the guy 15 bucks to take it back.

Put on some egg beaters on the TET and fell over.
Put some decent pedals on the Motobecane so I can ride it's ridiculous townie styles around brakeless until I get a brake set and switch it over to 39x18 SS for the pops.

I was messing around on my driveway going 0 mph when I fell, so I think I deserved to fall. It was even more embarrassing because a car drove by in midfall.
I like the Egg Beaters because they are easy to get in to with their entry. It still takes some getting used to, though. We'll see how I like them after I actually put some miles on them.

Still have yet to join club tombay on my eggbeaters. Long time member on clips and straps though. That said, I love my egg beaters. I recently got the pontoon adapter for road shoes and it's very nice. It gives a nice flat platform and keeps me clipped in better during skids.

As the result of an unfortunate 11PM latte, I only got like 3 hours of fitful sleep last night. I toddled over to the co-op this morning for some wheelin' and dealin', sold my Windsor frameset for $50 and traded my Arione saddle for a honey B17. Helped the kid who bought my frame build something up out of the parts bin. After the shop closed up I got invited to a barbeque tomorrow.
It feels good to finally be making some friends. I was really struggling before I found the co-op.
