Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

considering you have to maintain form for judges too...my bet is that she will break you
As I said, if I dedicated MY LIFE TO IT, I could achiece 100 push-ups very likely. I was doing 75 when I was training martial arts (would say Karate, but we did Ju-Jitsu and Judo as well), and I had only 2 trainings per week. So yeah, I have it in me. And since I am an average guy, I am betting most here would be able to. If you can't, well, that's just your problem. Don't be looking down on other people if YOU can't do something.

feet elevated would be harder most of the time.. because that would essentially be an inclined bench press movement.. more sholders and less pectoral.. but i think her feet were just elevated because her hands were on the elevated bar things too, making it essentially a flat pushup.. the elevation, however, would make it easier to see that her elbows were going down to perpendicular which is important in a competition.. anyway that's pretty impressive, especially for a girl. although she probably weighs 100-115 lbs, so it would be a lot easier for her than a 150+ lb guy..

I could do 75-90 without stopping when I was in NROTC in college.. now I just bench press normally and focus on poundages/size instead of muscular endurance (which is really just for showing off how many pushups you can do)
