As much as I like my Vagner and Newvex fork crowns, the sloping ones like yours have gotta be my favorite. How can that be a month or two out?

Yes straight stays, rack and fender in the back fender on the fork. all in prep for commuting and maybe joining a gugie adventure
will do details on process and decisions made for this when i get the bike together
since the kirk is out of the bag, this is Joe Bell paint... not pretty sure the clear coat was not done at this point so this paint will get even better looking

That colorway pops! Excellent choice in contrasting colors - and the frame detail is astounding. Not that I'm surprised, having had the opportunity to closely scrutinize Dave's exquisite 753 example at Cino in 2021, which he not only displayed, but also rode - hard - on both days.

Great choice of craftsmen to build and paint. It's great to see a proper, ventilated and filtered, paint booth so the painter isn't killing himself slowly and polluting the neighborhood with the fumes.
I'm helping the wife of an old-time bike painter to clear out a lifetime accumulation of bike components and tools. Back when we all wanted Imron he sprayed a lot of frames with it. It is heartbreaking to know that he is now suffering some serious health effects, possibly in part because of all those beautiful frames he painted for us.

but IIRC he reccomend paint if you are close to salt water, as there can be a reaction with the brazing material due to salt air
