Kind of like don't stick your feet under the mower when it is running warning that is on my mower deck. You know that is there because some idiot did just that and sued.

You don't even want to know what a couple of Park & Rec guys did to themselves trying to use a power mower to trim a hedge. I heard about it from their supervisor, who made the mistake of leaving them for a bit to check on another crew with instructions to mow the lawn and trim the hedge. Let's just say that fingernails (and a bit more) got trimmed but the hedge didn't.

to be honest, that seems to be the unwritten motto of every group ride i've ever been at. All of them. Most vigorously enforced on those labelled "this will be a social ride. We wait for everyone!!!"

I came up behind two other riders on the road the other day. The guy in front signaled an "arm straight up" signal with his RIGHT arm, and, of course, turned left. The young lady in between went straight ahead, as did I. As I started to pass, she remarked/asked "Did that guy just signal for a left turn with his right arm?" I responded "He's from Australia" as I went past.

I was at a garage sale a few years back and saw a mountain bike with the fork assembled backwards. I told the couple selling it and the husband said she never rode it so it didn't matter. Can't argue with that logic. I did notice his bike was put together correctly.
