I found that saddle comfortable from the start.
...the SA saddle has nice long rails and is available with a cast aluminum frame (steel rails) if you want to save some weight (80 grams).

A saddle is a life long investment. I have used the same saddle that I bought in 1971 for the past 50 years and I have other saddles that I moved from the "old" bike to the new one. No other bike part can be recycled to this degree.
Taiwan makes top quality products but the best goes to Germany and is referred to as "German quality". Germans are willing to pay more for the best. Second grade is "Japan quality" and the low end stuff is usually made in China where labor is a lot cheaper. The Taiwan companies make hand and power tools that are the best in the world but if you do see them in the USA they will have a German brand on them.

Gyes, even if their prices on AliExpress have gone up lately. I have 3 different GS-06 and they're gold.
Anyway, less than 70 dollars for a Brooks style saddle is not real world, but wishful thinking... thick, solid and well treated leather doesn't come as cheap as trashy plastic.
