Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hanging out in GA, today. I didn’t wave to DougRNS when I passed near by Atlanta because I was too pissed off at the time about the traffic.

For the record, I own the e-mower pictured in earlier posts. I bought it two years ago.

Do you own a goat or other grass-eating critter?

I own a 50 lb. push mower and an 18V string trimmer. Both smell better than a goat.

I think you have goats confused with pigs. Now a billy goat stinks! I'll grant you that. But not the does.

It's a monster for sure. For better or worse, however, there hasn't been enough grass to justify it: mostly weeds, runaway liriope, and cicada killer mounds and hence the string trimmer. This year, we overseeded clover. It's coming up and we'll see if it lasts more than a season.

Some really nice lady leaves me a vice mail message at work every couple of days offering to extend my car's extended warranty, which is about to expire. How thoughtful. Guess I should return her calls.

I was supposed to buy a mower over the weekend. I failed. I have one in the storage facility, I think it even runs. I am curious about the electric ones though.

Would love a push mower like this, unfortunately it’s not feasible for the size lawn we have.
