I'm surprised no one mentioned Specialized - a lot of riders in my area ride Specialized frames and bikes. Prices start at around $700 for an entry level bike.
Specialized Bicycle Components
Also Raleigh UK has recently added their Equipe Track bike at 600 pounds UK. If you buy in UK and fly back with it as baggage you can avoid VAT. I like it is made with 6061 aluminum (or should that be aluminium) alloy Search bikes, cycling accessories & clothing

Surprised Planet-X void warranty if using glue! Couldn't find it mentioned when I just had a quick search.
Nothing particularly outstanding with the Raleigh, but impressed it includes a number of chainrings (45, 49, 50t) and cogs (15, 16t) plus tools (chain whip, hex wrench, chainring bolt tool and gear ratio chart)!

"Please note: we advise using Tufo Extreme Tubular Gluing Tape for use with all our tubular carbon wheels. Use with tub glue rather than tape will void the warranty of your wheels and we cannot take any responsiblity for damage or injury caused if glue is used."

Was looking for the fine print so missed the bold text in the middle of the page...
Could understand the last part not taking responsibility for damage or injury if glue is used as people may do a bad glue job, but not to void the warranty of the wheels for manufacturing defects.

Does anyone here use the tape? I've never even thought about it.

1) As a fellow big guy, I'll warn you to stay away from aero seatposts. The all slip under big guys. Period. Go for a frame with a standard round post.
2) $2600 for an aluminum frame is nuts. My custom Tiemeyers were less than $2000 each...and that's FULLY custom: custom tubing, custom geometry, and custom paint.
If you have $2600 to spend on a frame, you can probably find a much better option...including custom aluminum.

Thoughts on the new CAAD Track geometry? Seems like a decent setup in terms of components, but I have yet to see msrp anywhere online.

aka mattio
But yeah, the dropouts are short.
The geometry looks fine. It doesn't have sprint geometry (what some people call 'traditional track geometry') but that's fairly standard for an enduro/all-around bike these days.

For those wondering why we are commenting on dropout (AKA: Track End) length is that when you change gears, your wheel moves up and back depending on your chainring/cog combination.
Longer dropouts allow for this. Shorter dropouts may actually require you to use 2 different chains (with 1 chain section removed) to achieve a normal range of gear options. Changing the chain at the same time as you change chainring and cog is a pain in the ass.
Here are some long droputs:
PlanetX:
Tiemeyer:
Dolan Forza:
Older Dolan DF3:
And the grandaddy of 'em all: BT
All BT frames use the same dropouts.
