What clamp seat tube diameter do you need should be marked on the inside of the clamp on Suntour.. I may have a couple front DR options that will work good for you on the cheap in my parts bin. Maybe not Sutour but good Shimno or SR with a similar look.

Most of the 1st-gen Cyclones will be 1-1/8" of course!

I probably have a couple, let me know!

I did have a ~1977 Miyata 1000, the blue one with SR Apex triple cranks, and I set that bike up as a hybrid MTB because it had such an oddly-tall bottom bracket which cleared rocks well.
I used Rapidfire Plus levers with what I believe was the bike's original Cyclone FD, and the darn thing indexed perfectly in front.

I give the Cyclone top marks, and agree with what pcb had to say about the clamp. Think of it as the Japanese Jubilee(?).

I’ve seen so many broken there that I have a hard time believing the clamp design was adequate.
