The Lupe Fiasco concert last night was incredible. That guy is a great artist.

Big Sean was a little less impressive, but still good.

some songs in heavy rotation since moving (EDIT - too cumbersome to embed the videos, just links). none of it works well with each other, so it may not make much sense:

interpol - lights

cardigans - my favorite game

raveonettes - the last dance

the velvet underground - all tomorrow's parties

tommy james and the shondells - crimson and clover

red house painters - have you forgotten?

erasure - stop

violent femmes - american music

ladytron - blue jeans

placebo - pure morning

el ray - better surf than sorry (crappy spin earth video)

pavement - cut your hair

the liars - the other side of mt. heart attack

sorry if the links don't match up - let me know and i can edit.

Merle Haggard and Buck Owens are good time boys.

EDIT: Hammy56's suggestion is a great one too. Check out only daddy that'll walk the line

ATM i'm listening to some strange ass Miles Davis that popped up on my Weather Report Pandora station. Duran from the Jack Johnson sessions.

His grandpa was a genius and I don't use that term lightly.

Thank you. I said I was a total newb, so I appreciate the education. I actually think I'm more into dubstep though, I really dig rusko's stuff.

ok so i have some music for you guys, it has been a while... if you are into indy you should like most of this. i have been on somewhat of a post- punk kick (women, weekend, no age, abe vigoda)

so deerhunter recently came out with this one...pretty much the album of the year in my book.

excellent song here.

no age, i have been avoiding listening to these guys for a while and i have no idea why.

weekend

abe vigoda

and these guys, probably my favorite of the bunch...such an interesting style.

notice how similar the 1st 2nd and last videos are? they are all fan vids, wonder if its the same guy/girl making them.

that is what i have for now. thanks!
