Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Interesting. I'm a half inch taller and at the bottom of your weight range, yet I wear an XL in both Castelli and Assos.

I suspect my long legs/short torso may have something to do with this. In the cycling tuck, my boys have free room to move around if i wear a L bib. And my boys are very precious to me - no chafing allowed!

Weirdly, I have ONE pair of freaking Castelli shorts that feels like i am trying to put on my wife's XS bibs. All the others are fine.

Makes sense. If anything, I lean slightly towards long-waisted, so I buy XL for the strap length.

I like these as well, but find that the Elites are pretty much as good.

Hincapie signatures work fairly decent for me as well (though their Max bibs have padding that always seems to rub me the wrong way) and are a lot easier to find on discount as someone ordered the wrong amount for their team or whatever.
