Spinning ( the class )

Meet me at spin class!!!!
I'm taking spin class three times a week for about 9 years now. So it's not real outdoor cycling, so what? It's the closest I'm going to get.

What city do you live in? In the sf bay area you can rent bikes from sports basement
Go with a friend that can ride a bike and find a nice flat place with no cars. You will be up in no time.

Last Spin class was late yesterday afternoon, high intensity, only five of the 'usual' twenty five attended. Colorado Governor shut down the gyms for at least the next thirty days. At least the weather is somewhat stabilizing and the temps rising, the road bike will see more action

Turns out spin class helps a lot. I went riding with my friend. She is not very good riding a bike. Does not know when to shift, stand, brake, turn etc.. I have to go really slow for her if the terrain is anything but flat.
When the road is arrow straight, she is in the right gear she can MOVE with a high cadence. I don't think I could keep up with her if we did some flat open road with zero cars, traffic lights, turns etc..
