Mine just marked as shipped and I got a tracking number. Given that I just completely built up my steel Langster I am not quite sure what to do at this point, lol.

No need to be rude TT. I didn't say anything that didn't make sense (which is why your response wasn't a logical retort, just a random insult).
There is clearly a demand for these frames, you happen to be online at the right time and order several. There is still a demand, but now you have the supply. You can raise the price a bit and make a profit.
Troll bike keeps trolling.

Wow; all in stock => still $200.
Nashbar's really killing the resale value of these.
Hate to be a person who bought one at MSRP.

microeconomic supply and demand is exactly what you're describing in your last reply... "There is clearly a demand for these frames, you happen to be online at the right time and order several. There is still a demand, but now you have the supply. You can raise the price a bit and make a profit."... a supply of goods, and the demand for those goods driving the market value up... that's how supply and demand work in a microeconomic scale.
problem is, in your example... neither the demand, nor the supply changed. so the profit you made is simply because the demand will grow with market scarcity... because you're hoarding goods. you are implying that demand will rise and that will drive prices up while value stays the same, increasing profit.
however, the statement you made that TT was quoting was:
"there's nothing wrong with buying multiple things for a good price and reselling them, that's how supply and demand work."
it is clearly evident in that statement that you are talking about the macroeconomic effects of these factors on the marketplace... how they work, why they work, and if what they are doing is good.
if you had said "there's nothing functionally wrong with the microeconomic effect of... x" then it would have been a true statement... but as written you should have said "inflation is the primary reason that there is something wrong with...x" or "there is nothing ethically wrong with x ... though it will cause inflation and other economic ills."
macroeconomics are a little more important, a little more complex, and a little more concerned with the 'why,' 'how,' 'should,' and 'beneficiality' of these types of economic behaviors, trends, and concepts. maybe you really did flunk econ 101, because if you had passed it you never would have said that a market action that adds no value to the market, and therefore inflates market price, is something that has "nothing wrong" with it.
for the record, i didn't flunk econ 101 or 102, i just decided i wanted a different major... and i studied microeconomics as well as macroeconomics.
also for the record, i don't think two extra frames bought for teammates constitute scalping, hoarding, or any ethical issues I was trolling about earlier. if it was only three frames then who cares. no big deal, i just hope someone rides them with less than an inch of spacers on the steerer. I was going on what other people were saying that roundface was buying them up by the handful to sell later for profit... which at best causes inflation, and at worst is a dick move.
it's very possible that you didn't flunk 101, but your 101 only included microeconomics. in which case your error is thinking that you understand those concepts fully. because TT's right... you don't.

U so mad bro.
You're right, neither the supple nor the demand have changed simply by purchasing extra frames. I was thinking more along the lines of, you order several frames, the rest sell out within the day (which I assumed they would, I'm impressed they still have any), by the time you get yours in the mail yours are the only ones for sale. So you sell them as soon as they're in your possession. Does that still count as hoarding?

I think people started realizing that resale on these frames leaves fairly little room for profit in the near future and stopped hoarding.

i don't think anyone was hoarding. i think dude bought some for his team to use collectively and then a bunch of people thought he'd sell them for profit.
i'm more angry at the other davis kids who spoke for him than i am at him...
and yeah tl-dr is fine i still had a great time making more imbecilic comments.

you gotta keep your davis boys in line then, because they certainly fed right into the "you should pm him and buy it at markup" fable.
i mean, it's not like i just fabricated that out of thin air.

Fuji, and most ISP manufactures aren't paying their engineers millions for nothing....To imagine that there is zero adjustibility on a bike would be ridiculous. Change of saddles, flexibility as the season progresses, etc. are all causes of raising or lowering a saddle. The saddle clamp mechanism is designed with this in mind, you've got +/- about 2 cms if you do it right.
I'm speaking from experience (sort of). I watched a teammate deal with this issue.
Yes, theorhettically, it *should* work...but it doesn't. Which is why it's on sale.

he wasn't being rude. Furthermore, it's evident that the answer to his query is quite possibly affirmative... As you have now confirmed your misunderstanding. Allow me to break it down for you..
TL;DR...Lots of inflated diction aimed at providing the impression that cc700 not only scratches at the surface of market economics but has take at least TWO courses in the subject, a veritable master of the supply and demand......
It's very possible that you didn't flunk 101, but your 101 only included microeconomics. In which case your error is thinking that you understand those concepts fully. Because tt's right... You don't.

It's still a flip if I sell it to my friend... He's paying me more than I paid, yet less than what the price has risen to, and we both are happy. By definition, a flip.
And regardless, if you or anyone wanted to hand me enough cash, then I'd definitely flip it to you or anyone else. Then I could use the money to buy more FTP frames, and then sell those to my friends and then buy more FTP's and create an infinite loop until I have enough money to buy up the world's supply of food!
Wtf Lupin is correct though.
