the skin suit has been removed for him, I will assure the picture will be taken!
the box has been let loose only a few hours ago.....
It's on it's way to Idaho!

gentlemen....it has been a pleasure to take part in the box o crap game.
may it continue for a long time.
the actual box is shot, I taped many many holes up in the thing at the post office,
on the walk back to the car I stumbled over the campy drop bolt and campy dust cap that must have fell out when I carried it in.

Oh, sigh. I hope it fits! This ought to be fun (or horrifying) for someone.

Damn, Andy - that's a cool pic!! Now I'm really sad to be leaving - it would've been uber-cool to watch you compete

Maybe next year...

Pics for Puch are below:

Box as received (this is absolutely the least-revealing pic of the box I've seen yet):

Stuff removed: jersey, RD, FW remover, pump umbrella, cable clips and small toe clips:

Everyone's already seen me in Spandex - probably too many times

Ah, come on - it's not as bad as all that

Besides, if it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit. I don't wear a size Medium anymore! Donate it to the local co-op if it looks like the seams will be over-taxed

No problem, dude!

Nice looking Tour of Colorado jersey.

I will grab a new box next time I'm near a post office.

Honestly, I think it needs a new box as soon as it arrives, the entire box is covered with tape!
cool thing to do would be build a custom box, get drywall tape for all the corners, then cover the box inside and out with book laminating tape.

if you have lead time it could be done, and the box needs a map!

Yep, a new box is called for!

I'll post the other pics later today -- this sick boy needs to go back to bed.

I guess that is fair warning of what not to do!

odd news, my mom called 2 stables looking for a place where Nelli could go riding, both female stable owners died that week, one was in the hospital, the second got run down by a car.
we don't want to ask another stable....

Well, here's what I'm taking:

I'm slowly gathering the parts to do a 650A/650B fakenneur build, and I figured an extra BB spacer and rear QR wouldn't hurt. There was some other good stuff (thanks Mike!) but they weren't quite my bag, so they'll go on to the next person. Speaking of "bag", there were a bunch of small parts loose in the bottom of the box, so I'm going to collect them all into one more baggie. I'm going to get a new box and repack everything (plus some good stuff I won't ever use) on Monday, should be able to mail it on Tuesday!

- Scott

...and it's off to Hairnet! I decided to spend an extra 80 cents or whatever and get a tracking number -- given the BOC's history, it may be a good idea to start doing that if we haven't been.

It's funny that we define crap as things we don't use. I make my living in the crap business and I see this as the recycled thread...

It's fun to see how the contents change along the way. I spy a couple interesting items that I could put to use already, and I've got some things selected to put back in.

I've also warned my wife that the box is heavy. I haven't warned our walking mail carrier though, but he/she usually parks 3 houses down for our section of their delivery route so it shouldn't be too much for him/her.

Odd request, but would there be any objections to my turn being moved three spots down on the list? I'm next in line for the box and I was thinking that it would get to me just in time before I went out of town for a couple days on the 29th, but since it's the 23rd already I'd rather not take any chances of it getting here late and then stuck in my mailbox for half a week. I've already spoken to Hairnet about the issue and he'll be sending the package on to Treebound next.

Okay with me, except I'll probably miss out on the "Colorado Rock(ie)s" in the box.
