i got this unfinished half-sleeve here, and this cog over there.
the cycling king is the joker card from a bicycle deck, and the rest of the background is inspired by albrecht durer woodcuts. and so is the goat. the cog was my first. for finishing off the half-sleeve, i'm gonna get little splashes of color here and there, in the same style as teacups, where it's sort of pastelish, but really vibrant. can't explain it.
i also have this hanging goat tattoo that was also found in the book of albrecht durer woodcuts, but i can't find the picture of it.

hmm...mine looks kinda jacked in that photo...it's not really that bad on my arm....plus it's not finished. i think it'll look much better with color. my plan is to get cardinals flying from top of that one, getting larger as they cross my shoulder and finally one or two medium to large sized ones on my chest...like the swallow tattoos that a lot of people get when they cross the country. but mine will be cardinals, because the cardinal is the illinois state bird and that's where i'm from. and also my grandfather used to sing with them on his daily walks.
oh, and the cog is a 13 tooth cog, actual size on the inside of my right forearm. the actual cog is hanging off my wallet.

I am so let down by this innocent answer that I will have to return to showing people Schiek's pciture and telling them he is Anton LeVay's nephew.

turd, your butterflies piece is one of the few tattoos I have seen that seems worthwhile, what a great composition.
