MTB shorts. I like the pearl uzumis. I have a few shells and several liners. I can't stand synthetics on my torso and they seem to reek worse than any other material. Also I do other activities so invest in general purpose wool for cold and hot. I love moderate temps when I can wear a cotton t. What I've found with cotton and high humidity heat is chafing so opt for micro weight wool which stays significantly more dry. A couple of years ago my wife got me a runners pouch (very thin fanny pack) and I haven't worn a jersey since. As someone else noted, if opting for jersey they do come club fit. My one cycling jersey fit like an ordinary t shirt, but hate the material. For me cycling is an adventure, not a sport. How many kids do you see riding around the neighborhood in kit? When we were kids i wouldn't have even known where to find a helmet, but not bucking that trend.
