Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am looking at a set of these for a training wheel. Does anybody happen to have a pic of the 2.0 Max on a bike? I am torn between those and the 3.0. Also I saw somewhere on Souls site about group buys, has anybody thought about getting one together or talked to him about it?

I'm wondering the same thing too, i'd be using these as my all around wheelset if there durable enough. Eyeing some Reynolds Assaults as well.

The 1350 figure was a typo on my part. Official weight is 1365. Mine came in at 1417. About durability, guess it would depend on how much you weigh and the quality of the roads in your area. I just got mine and I weigh a little over 140lbs. The roads in my area are pretty decent in most places, though there is often a lot of debris due to rain. I'm going to be using the C5.0's as my everyday wheels. They'll probably be just fine for me, but I'll report back when I have a few hundred miles on them.

Hi mate, I never received any e-mail about veloplug sizes (hence the lack of a reply). Anyways the C5.0s come with the holes plugged, you won't need any veloplugs for them.

Regards,
Sean

I know he's swamped, but that doesn't make it easier

You should donate a set to me so I don't have to survive with a bent Shimano R500 for 5 months.

Sean emailed me, said he's sending my C5.0 Prodigys back because they weren't up to his standards. He's sending me the S2.0s now.

Total price for C5.0 Prodigy + S2.0 + Titanium skewers = $1835 shipped. (shipping was $100).

I got an email today saying my wheels were ready. I sent the payment right away so hopefully they'll be on their way to the States soon.

I doubt they'll be here by the weekend, but maybe they'll be here by next!!
Can't wait.
