You keep pushing this link/video narrative and only have a few posts on BF. I feel like you're hunting for clicks and ad revenue from some kind of videos you have posted on youtube or something.

Using the Trek Top Fuel with a 30x10 as an example 180 rpm only gets you 42mph.

When I was ten years old or so, I rode a heavy steel single speed coaster brake Schwinn bike with big fat tires and had the mock gas tank in the frame (similar to Pee Wee Herman's bike). It had a round mechanical speedometer attached and when sprinting, it would register 40-45 mph. At ten years old, I didn't know better and believed it. Now I realize that I was probably doing 10-12 mph. I guess with the right speedometer you can think you can do anything.

If there's a 30+ mph tail wind, you sure as hell ought to go 40. LOL.
I was doing 27 to 30 mph on my 120 lb tour bike with that on the freeway. When I stopped at the A+W for lunch, 3 drivers came up to me and said wow you wuz flying. LOL.
As for my unofficial fastest with no wind, I never exceeded 25 mph on any bike with any gears. Made no difference.
Don't think I ever did better than 14 secs on a 100 yard dash either. LOL.
