Converting 27" quil stem to 700c disc; Are there any forks available?

The bike is an '86 schwinn world sport, chromoly main tubes, hi-ten fork, 27" wheels. I would like to use it for a cargo bike conversion using a 700c xtracycle free radical extension because I think the frame would be reasonably heavy duty for cargo bike service. The free radical extension has the necessary tab for the rear disc.
If the frame is a "mixtie" design, maybe. if a "ladies" style, I do not think it would have acceptable lateral stiffness.

Step through Cargo Bike with an extended frame in addition. Do not recall what Schwinn did for that model in a step through frame, but I would rethink the overall concept.

Yeah, I am not going to go through with this project. Too much cost and hassle, not very much benefit other than a lowered stand over. Thanks for all the input.
