Ditto, freewheels. Cheap, easy, they work well enough for the intended market.

I wish the old Shimano indexed thumbies were still made. It'd be easier to replace than repair -- or, in my case, disassemble to properly clean. It's gummed up with ancient dried grease and soaking in various solvents didn't get it all. So I'm using a low end Sunrace SLM10 friction thumbie for now. It works.

Cloth tape
Benotto tape
Rolls, Regal and Flite (albeit reissue) saddles
tanwall tubulars
Repro decals (thank you velocals, cyclomondo, et al)
Repro campy brake hoods
Look delta cleats

Not current production, but, despite all the gripes, eBay is a boon for c&v enthusiastists. Plus this forum and all the other assemblies of nutheaded enthusiasts.

Aren't those discontinued? They can still be found, but from what I can tell, Vittoria recently consolidated all of their top-end road tire lines into the "Corsa" line. The Pave is the other victim.

Velox Tressostar cloth tape, any color that matches and in the wide width. Cinelli stems and bars in the classic bends and sizes. Campagnolo cone wrenches.

Too many individual items for me to remember, and many excellent ones are mentioned in the preceding posts.

I'm thankful for the businesses, websites, and component manufacturers that directly, or indirectly cater to, or support the vintage bicycle enthusiast. Several come to mind;
Bikeforums, Bicycle Quarterly, Compass Cycles, Classic Rendezvous, Rivendell, Budget Bicycle Center, Bike Recyclery, Hillary Stone, Bicycle Classics, VeloBase, etc....

Velox Fond de Jante rim tape. It will be a sad day when you can't finish off a wheel build with it.
