Is it even the bb ? ... chainring bolts, pedals, tight ?

If you can't do the job, take to LBS, have BB removed and inspected, threads lubed with appropriate stuff (Ti prep or similar) and reinstalled - or replaced. Should do this evey few years or each season...

The two noisier bikes on our group have SRAM Red. One of them sometimes throws the chain off.
