Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

not really. I had really light tubing made exclusively for the track and with me being 185lbs to abuse on the streets doesn't seem fair. I figured let me use the $ to go toward something more useful. I do like the bike a lot but I can't justify beating up something like that just because it's pretty

I like fades, but I think glitter/iridescent paint jobs looks even better. You get the effect of two colors, but a lot of times even more because of the way the light plays with it depending on how you look at it.

How did fonts become so ugly? We were doing pretty well from the onset of graphic design, but now...ugh...I don't think that we'll be admiring today's ****ty fonts in 20 years from now. And besides the co-opting of graffiti, making it disgustingly homogenous, we're still mining the last century for good design.

Anyway, Gyeswho's ex-bike is the best example yet despite my gushing passion for that Lemond.
