Got it. I did a little 13 mile post office ride, and when I got home there was a Smart parked about 4 houses from my home.
Next mission, how about a your bike with a real race car, one with numbers on it, circle track, Nascar, sports car, no toys.

Obviously not an entry, but even though I’m on sabbatical from competition I still have the numbers.

The aircraft is a North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco used by NASA for low-speed flight, noise, and wake turbulence studies. It presently serves as a garden ornament next to the cafeteria at NASA Langley Research Center.

Does it matter if the race car has been crashed?
The following images are of a genuine NASCAR race car that was used for a crash test performed at NASA Langley Research Center. The car bears the number 43 and the name John Andretti appears above the driver side window. The purpose of the test was to evaluate the performance of the driver restraint system. The test was conducted using a system of pulleys and a large weight to accelerate the car into a fixed barrier. An Anthropomorphic Test Device (Crash Dummy) rode inside the car for the test.

BTW, John Andretti died of cancer just a few days ago. RIP, John. 😢

The next mission is to photo your bike at a railroad grade crossing with a locomotive passing by.

Yeah, I thought I had heard that. Ugh. Actually I didn't remember why he passed away. So I guess this can be our reminder to pray for his family. That was a very fortuitous picture. I think that's the right word. It was good timing. Thanks Too Old and Too Slow!!!!

Doubt this will count, video from my bike of a railroad grade crossing with a locomotive going by. Got stuck behind an MBTA bus. Then the driver of the Transit pulled out in front of me so got stuck behind the Transit.
This is the West Medford station up ahead with its level crossing. Interesting in that it is one of the few crossings left with a flagger, required to keep the quite zone.
First coach goes by at about 2 seconds. The locomotive (push in this direction) is crossing at about 9 seconds in.

You might want to inform people that this is the new screen name of TooOldandSlow .
I don't know if people know you assigned the mission.

My apologies.
I decided to change my username because I thought perhaps it wasn't a good idea to advertise that I'm old, 58. I also thought it would be good to have the same username as my SlowTwitch account.
BikeForums has no provision to change usernames, so I created a new account under the name Fredo_Adagio, which is Italian for Fred_Slow. Actually, there was an intermediate step in which I was FredoLentamente, which means the same thing. That worked fine on SlowTwitch, but it breaks across two lines on BikeForums.
SlowTwitch does have provision for users to change their usernames. I started as 2Old&2Slow, but that caused problems with their coding, so they changed me to 2Old_2Slow, but then I had the same issue regarding advertising my age.
This morning, I received a message from BikeForums that I'm not allowed to have two accounts, so Fredo_Adagio has been permanently banned. I requested they do the opposite, keep Fredo_Adagio and terminate TooOldandSlow. I haven't yet heard back.
So for now, I am again TooOldandSlow. I apologize for the confusion.

I was under the impression that 58 is about the average age on this forum or even under average...

Through this misadventure, I've learned some things about accounts on BikeForums.
- Usernames cannot begin with a numeral. 2old&2slow isn't allowed.
- You might be able to use an ampersand (&), but it's risky. SlowTwitch doesn't have a rule against ampersands, but it fouls up their coding.
- You cannot change your username.
- You cannot have multiple accounts.
- If there is a way to delete an old account, I haven't been able to figure it out.
I'm not complaining. I'm happy to comply with the rules. It's just a matter of understanding what the rules are.
