Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Oh my, second picture is absolutely stunning.

It'd definitely make a nice piece of art in the living room.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Love you guys' pets. Mine might eat all of yours, but he's a good boy.

Gauge:

70-80 lbs on any given day, best friend a dude could ask for.

One of my cats looks pretty much exactly like this. I'll have to take some pics this week. It's cool to see that so many of your own cats, when I know so few people that do.

Yeah, I've noticed alot of cats on the FG/SS forum. I'm guessing fixie people get in too late for dogs.

BTW, I wanted a dog but the wife wanted a cat and I do like sleeping in, so two cats it is.

Another shot of the bike loving dog... she gets giddy whenever she sees the extrabike.

I don't think I could carry a Great Dane this way.

There are a lot of cat people on the forum... I myself am a cat person. However, I am deathly allergic to them, and (crossing my fingers) hopefully my allergist/asthmatic doctor will give me good news on Tuesday about allergy shots so I can surprise my fiancée with a cat for the holidays.

"ride" = "bike"

I don't think she has ridden in a car since she was a puppy so has never equated ride to anything else.

She also fits in the front basket of my folder but we will wait for spring until we try that.

Vix, sorry I never got around to making that cat thread!

This is Haiti, he likes to ride my wife's bike

This is Gremlin when he was a bit younger.

This is Yuki, Gremlin's brother

And this is Oni. He was the best cat to ever live. He died at 10 months of feline leukemia

Bob Saget and Bruce Kanellos Campbell.

Bruce is my best bud. Im working on getting him disciplined enough on the leash that I feel comfortable riding with him running next to me.

Edit: I turn into a weeping 8 year old girl when I bring up old pics of dogs I loved.

Decided to remove.
