Slightly older photo, but substantially the same. I’m lucky to be able to park it a few feet from my office.

[Hmm, post v2.0; v1.0 disappeared ] So I switched this week, to a slightly mysterious Trek 730:
Not "parked", technically. That's my locker it's in front of. Too dark and too cramped _inside_ the box.
Nothing on vintage-trek indicates they ever made a hybrid (MultiTrack) 730 with a lugged TT OX frame. This color should mean it's a '95, but every other "ice green" '95 I've seen is TIGged OS. Shrug.
It may be a BF "three-fer" - posted in the C&V June/Green thread, here as my latest commuter, aaaaand, it was FREE. About $20 in parts/accessories, so if I can get 100km in on it, I'll throw it in the C&V clunker thread.

My commuter is locked close to our building entrance with other commuters:
While not steel lugged, this classic aluminum '91 Cannondale ST1000 is my daily commuter:
If it's not raining, I'll select one of my steel vintage bikes and lock it on the same rack.

Full disclosure the bike came with me by car this morning, I am about 25 miles one way from work with disjointed bike paths/lanes etc. through a major urban area, and mostly I am in lousy shape , BUT, now that I have a bike at work I can do rides after my shift and enjoy the longer days and some new rides. I am hoping to get a level of fitness where I can do some multimodal and or one way commutes this summer.

Sekine SHS 271
I'm updating my earlier post. I finally broke down and picked up a cell phone with a decent camera, . I can keep my bike in my office. The bags are pretty ancient eclipse bags.
This is my mid to early 70s Sekine SHS 271. I love the bike (including the turkey levers). It has a nice riding tange frameset (likely no. 3 tubing) and the bike is almost entirely original (I swapped the pedals out for bmx style pedals). Plus with the turkey levers, it reminds me of the bike I rode everywhere in high school (a nishiki).
Here is it outside of where I work:

Doing the same 9 mile ride for three years can get boring, so I like to change it up by riding a different bike. This is my unicorn 1970 chrome Raleigh Grand Sports built up somewhat hipster style with a 2 speed kickback hub, MAFAC RAID brakes, a proper Caradice bag sporting Society of Three Speed stickers, patch, and various buttons. It also has a custom @rhm saddle refurb with GUGLIELMANA impressions, custom artwork done by Rudi.

Yes it’s nice to have a place to park your bike inside the building , for a host of reasons. No chance of theft , or vandalism and most important it stays dry .
Downside I suppose is that I know there are some people in the world that are lucky enough they can park their bike by their desk / in office.
Still I have no complaints as long as the elevator works .

If I ever have the money to commission a custom built bike it is going to be , a bike very similar to the Grand Jubile except for a 1 1/8 steerer tube , 130mm rear and BSA bottom bracket shell, of course more braze on's .
This particular Grand Jubile will end up with a different set of wheels that will allow me to goto 3x9 I already have the 3x9 shifters and XT rear derailleur in place. As soon as I can afford the upgrade It will occur.
