Great time and good folks. Kevin, thanks for the lift and nice to see your collection. Friendly group of riders just out having a good time. I may plan my San Diego visits around this . I had a bit of wind burn from the Strand! Fun to see you guys still have the speed, you were gone like rockets once we hit the Strand ...and with a headwind! Hope to return soon, Joe

That Confente looks very familiar. A friend of mine bought one and from what I remember it was the same color and size looks about right.
I remember we went to visit the workshop in L.A. and met Mario who as we know sadly passed away not long after at a young age.
He did not have it for very long and sold it to someone here in San Diego so I am thinking it could be the same one.

Joe Bell made it out, he still have Masi downtube transfers over the Colnago? He did that for one of the "Masi Rides" years ago but they remained for a while.
Love that color. One of my grail bikes is an Electric Blue one in my size with the "playing card" graphics package.

This collage from the ride has three images of JB's bike. Colnago decals and cool bits and pieces.

The days ride had great weather, and Great company. The BBQ brisket at the "Lil Piggy " was excellent.

I would also love to make this ride sometime in the future.
Would be great to meet Joe Bell as I have several classics which he repainted.
