Did this sell already? What is the size? I had a 1983 Trek 760, one of the nicest riding bikes I've ever owned, but it was too small for me. I still miss that bike.

I sought out this post for the same question about converting vintage 80's 760/770 to 650b. I also stumbled on a Flickr user who converted an '85 760 and it looks well done. The
album description and images document his conversion well. He kept it to 38mm width tires - likely all it can handle.

One of the photo captions says the stays were dimpled and it will take 42mm tires.

Oh man, I'd forgotten how contentious this thread got BITD. Must have been a lot of people assuming "650B = non-threatening leisure machine", which my 650B conversion is not.
